I always say "no, never been here before" especially if I'm out of town. I don't think I look like a a cop and reeking of weed kinda confirms that to be true. Another thing I believe that helps is I always say I'm from Orlando (actually Brevard) when I'm out of town, because that is another question that is asked frequently right after the first question. If it's a spa I haven't been to before, I say "No, but I usually go to *rival spa name* and am looking for a new regular spa. " That way, they can't call you out on whether you've been there before, and (hopefully) they'll put in the extra effort to keep you coming back, so to speak.
