I know you're an experienced monger, but if I might use your post, I'll give an idea how I approach things with a girl a far piece away which might be useful to lurkers and newbies.

" Also I give progress reports, about every 15-minutes. Also let her know that I am 5-minutes away when I pull into her location. Gives a chance to 'survey' the situation. If there is traffic or a crash or something I'll report that and suggest how that might effect timing.

From a girl's prospective it's astonishing how many guys flake. Say they are coming or on the way and then never show up. So I get it if a girl takes a regular while one s on the way, I don't like that, just wish many would say that is what they are doing. But that takes a level most lack.

I know this isn't going to work 100% of the time as some girls just can't tell time or have not concept of it. But those that do and have been around, I think appreciate the approach.
