How about Google Voice or Text Now? You can layer these on top of your IRL phone, but I have seen instances where your IRL number gets leaked or youse get calls on the App number while with the SO. Best practice is to get a cheap burner phone AND layer the App number on top of that.

It's all about risk management and how much risk one is willing to take, either by a thoughtful approach or ignorance (uneducated).

I use Goggle Voice. You can use the app or go via the web. Some pros and cons to each approach. Occasionally messaging is delayed but not sure of that is the app or her operator error. I have it as a hidden app in my iphone which requires face I'd upon opening to find. So if I have handed my iphone to someone else they cannot see it or open it.

There's no substitute for a separate burner phone. There ARE plenty of texting apps, but many can be glitchy. Like, giving you notifications, even when they're turned off. Imagine, you reach out to a girl and she's "busy" and doesn't get back to you until 6 PM the next night, when you're out to dinner with your wife. 🙄.

Then there's always the "cartel warnings " you'll get from trying to set up something from LC. 🙄.

That being said, I use "text now" app on my burner, works ok for me. Sometimes limited in functions, but it works. One thing, change the standard notification if you DO use it. Just kind of a well known sound for "people who are doing things that maybe they shouldn't be".

Also, I, myself, do not have as much need for "high security" as some other folks.

Never once unreasonably wasted anyone's time like they claim so block delete and go about your day. As long as your using a burner you got nothing to worry about. I even got pics of a dead guy with his throat cut. The thing is all I ever did was ask for info. Never once unreasonably wasted anyone's time like they claim so block delete and go about your day. If you're using your personal phone hit yourself in the head with a hammer and knock some sense in there LOL.

I tried to set something up a few weeks ago. Got the location and when I arrived a big blk dude came out of the room and came to my car and was trying to talk to me. Asked if he could get in. HELL NO! Suffice it to say I left. I'm not 100% sure that it wasn't a coincidence but seeing how I texted the girl and told her I was there she never replied with room number or anything. So tread lightly.
