They are basically an "automated" text that is sent out to try and scam you out of money. You get sent that message (usually from a different number you've never messaged) when you've messaged a profile that asks for deposits.

I receive this scam text at least once a week. When I used to use my personal number. They would attached some sick gory pictures with the text that I later found were photos lifted from some cult forum. All fake.

I have only seen LEO that one time and doubt it was a sting. However, I have never been at said location before, and wasn't sure if around the time I went if this was the "norm" to try and keep trouble away. If you're heading out during the day or while everyone else is at work, chances are, you're probably fine.

I had a strange text from a dude over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It read something like this. Good morning! This is Rob and I am the owner of a brothel and you had messaged one of my girls and wasted her time. You need to re imburse her for the lost time or there will be serious problems. For your own safety I suggest you contact us immediately so we can discuss how you can rectify this.

I had the biggest laugh that I almost fell out of my chair. Of course the number he gave went nowhere and the texts that I sent back just echoed and came back to me! I was using a TXT APP and there was no way for him to know who I am.

Guys, that is not what a sting looks like! You do not see cops in uniforms and patrol cars running around the block with lights and sirens. A sting is pretty discrete carried out by vice squad. They are generally camped in a room or a house and wait for mongers to show up. They place an ad on major sites like STG and these ads usually have information that shouts self incrimination. They are easy to spot unless you are thinking through the small brain. You are busted the moment you answer the texts and knock on the door. They do not need to catch you in the act nor you have to offer any money. They book you on the spot and you have to get a lawyer or show up in court to prove you were visiting a friend in need. This was not a sting by any standards. It was most likely a routine call because of a domestic disturbance which is quite common in those low price motels where people stay for extended period of time. Either they are being evicted or someone is out of their mind or someone is getting beat up. That is all. Yes! It is smart to just avoid a situation and wait it out but there has been times I have walked right past the cops like I live there and they did not even look at me!

Just for clarification (because I know people can take things way out of perspective), I understand that police stings would likely be more covert than two LEO vehicles that are marked pulling into a hotel. However, we don't know specifically why they were there (and I didn't actually say it WAS a sting, I questioned if it could have been), and in not knowing why they are there, it would be foolish and taking a larger risk to pull right on in. I wasn't about to take that risk but I know there are those on this board who don't care and probably have visited Uncle LEO in the past themselves. I don't plan on taking any vacations at that farm.

It's a scam. I have gotten that message a couple of times over the last year. It probably works on a couple of people out of 100, which is why they do it. I've just blocked the number it came from and moved on with no response. Another one that comes to my number is an offer for a job stating they saw my info on Indeed.com . I've never used my number for Indeed; just another scam.

Trust that! Over the years, I have talked to providers that said they were preg and was unsure by who. They admit to getting abortions. Probably best decision. When you see the ad their ad they are usually available. And if you text them for a visit you need to be ready to see them within the hour. Otherwise you have a higher chance of being ghosted. Just my 2 c.

Agree 100% with Smithy! Do not book an appointment with any STG girls. It is a waste of time. First come first served is their motto and they live from one minute to another. You advance call and booking means nothing to them! Heck! You are not even sure after reaching the parking lot of their address as another monger may have just beat you by a few seconds!
