1000% this. When I come in, the first thing I ask is to use their bathroom to wash my hands. If they say no, I dip instantly no matter what. Private homes are the worst and the best at the same time. So many places a second person could be unlike a hotel room. I probably go a step into paranoia-ville, but once I know where I'm going (what door on a house, what room number) I'll delete my texting app off the phone too just to make it extra hard to trace anything back around to me. The first thing I do is ask if they are comfortable answering questions via text. Sometimes they'll send a canned donation text or say sure or yes. If they just respond positively then I'll ask about donations but I never use the word "rates. " This is what works for me about 90% of the time.

Technically, IMHO, as long as you arent explicit in text if it were a sting or whatever its pretty hard to use it. So, I generally go with a generic question or one that's adjacent.
"What's your rate?
"Whats your donation?
"How much for your time?

Saw Pepper a while back before I went away for work, after finding a few reviews on here. Had a great 3 hr session. The full bar, excellent vibe and her living area just added to it.
