Once I completely ignored all ad photos, my success rate skyrocketed. I never ever use them for jgirls and kgirls. Jgirls and kgirls use fake ads all the time. It is nice when the fake ad kind of resembles the girl overall. That's a better ad than god-tier PS ads based on the girl.

When a jgirl has a JAV ad, about 80% of the time it's really the JAV girl and 20% of the time it's not the girl at all. Of that 80% however, years may have passed and the girl might look better or worse than her JAV days. But it's at least something I can work with and use.

However, if a girl uses a "regular fake ad" that happens to be a JAV star, it is simply a regular fake ad. I wouldn't assume it is the JAV star. You can just assume a photo taken off of IG or a celebrity is not going to be the girl, excepting the JAV girl scenario when she is actually advertised as JAV.

Figuring things out from Japanese shop ads is a tricky art. Often it is not the girl. Sometimes it is and the girl is on break in Japan and working abroad. Other times, the Japan ad is super old and you can just ignore it because it's out of date. Always check the date and time for those ads, some are from years ago.

It is possible to search USAG for an old review of a girl, but I wouldn't count on it. Names get reused too much so a name alone is basically worthless. Many girls never get a single detailed review, if even a mention.
