Not going to get into math or algorithms. According to the highly respected Mayo Clinic the chances of acquiring an STI from a BBBJ does exist, but it is considerably lower than other sexual activity. It can only occur if your partner has cuts or sores in the mouth or has gum disease. Does that mean we need to be dentists? Of course that's ridiculous, but if you see anything unusual around the mouth or badly rotted teeth then you might want to take out the cover. In all my years in this game I have always limited the number of escorts I see. Most of the time I would just see one regular for months at a time. Bottom line, if you are that worried about an STI, then reduce your chances and find a regular!

I was just thinking about how hard it would be for someone with a huge stink down there to even go to a doctor. Which doctor would be able to keep a straight face as she disrobes and starts to stink up the place? How you guys are able to hold your noses and see her is beyond me.

I saw the same statistic that you did, but that statistic is based on the general population. For instance, among men who have sex with men, the range is 9% to 15%, which is already 50% more prevalent at the upper end of the range (10% to 15% is a 50% increase). Of course, providers are likely to have many more contacts -- and more cases of gonorrhea of the throat -- than even the most promiscuous of gay men. After all, how many gay men are giving BBBJ after BBBJ, several times a week, at least a few times a day? So why don't we just agree that the risk of getting gonorrhea from a provider is more like 8% per "get-together"? Still, the odds are against it -- there's a 92% chance that you don't get gonnorhea from a single BBBJ from a provider.

92% is the same number (for calculational purposes) as. 92 -- the odds of not catching gonorrhea after seeing 2 providers is. 92 times. 92, which equals, . 846, or 84.6%. After seeing a third provider, the odds of NOT catching gonorrhea from any of them is. 846 times. 92, which is approximately. 78, or 78%. So already, if you're visiting 3 providers, the odds that you don't get gonorrhea from any of them, or from more than one of them, is 78%, which means the odds of catching gonorrhea is 22%, or between 1/4 and 1/5 of the time!
If you engage in 2 or 3 cardates a month, you are very, very likely to get gonorrhea within 4 or 5 months.
Just my 2 cents.

Posts: 410The data guy in me has to bring up one very important thing to look at with a statement like this. What is the prevalence of gonorrhea in the throat? Google search suggested 2-10% of cases. So, using the min / max of those ranges, the chances of getting gonorrhea from oral are (2% of 23%) to (10% of 42% which is 0. 4% to 4%. This is where the "virtually impossible" statement would come into play. Not only do they have to be infected, but specifically their throat has to be infected, for you to be at risk. Is it still a risk? Of course. But it's not a 42% chance.

Posts: 763A google search brings up various articles that report about a 10% chance of contracting clap from oral. But some studies are higher. Here's a quick reference from a NYC STD center, reporting probabilities of oral transmission of various STDS.

This is what it reports for clap:
"Gonorrhea- Chance of transmission from an infected throat to the penis: 23% - 42.3%. ".
Surprising, isn't it?! Nevertheless, FWIFA!

Scary is the right word. I'll be damned. I've been getting BBBJs since before my first wife, circa 1993. I'm either the original NEO, or I've been asymptomatic a hundred times and was none the wiser for it. Fuck me, I may be asymptomatic now, as I just got a BBBJ from a nasty old wench on Cranston just last week (Escort thread, I know, sorry).

Thankfully, my wife and I are in the sex-once-every-three-months phase, if that; and I just plowed her a couple nights before so I'm good until after the holidays.
But still, news to me! Damn. That sucks. With a condom.

A simple google of the topic brings up a shitload of info, on both popular and professional medical sites, and it's clear that getting your dick sucked raw is a perfectly fine way to successfully get the clap! Less common than vaginal sex, to be sure, but the male still has about a 10% chance of catching it from the mouth of female who carries it in their mouth/throat. (Google it!) Doesn't stop me from getting my dick sucked raw, through. There is risk everywhere, right?

But then you follow that statement with, "Much less likely to spread Clap. . . Through just oral alone". Are you not aware that gonorrhea IS clap? They are one and the same! Like Clark Kent and Superman! So which do believe? Because if you believe that gonorrhea is easily spread thru oral but clap is not. . . Well, isn't that sort of like believing that a woman has bolt ons, and that the same woman has all-natural tits, at the same time?! Or maybe, like the Queen of Hearts in Through the Looking Glass, you are able to "believe 6 impossible things before breakfast"!

Posts: 152Absolutely certain, I've been in the hobby 15+ yrs & never ever fuck these hoes raw, even anal I wrap up but I love a nice wet BBBJ. I usually opt just for that & this is the first time I caught something. I'm just glad it was something easily treatable but still scary from a BBBJ.

I've always wrapped up eith Joelle. I saw her about 3 or 4 months ago and her pussy reeked. That's usually a sign that something isn't right downstairs. Whether it's hygiene, BV or a STD. The concern with someone who offers bareback to everyone is they aren't getting tested and don't care. I stopped getting BBBJ awhile ago.

Posts: 1283I saw two women that I narrowed it down to. I got symptoms 3 days later and went to my primary, who referred me to the STD Clinic, which confirmed I had both Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.

And I see further down that someone else got burned from a BBBJ. Since when? Last I remember, it was "virtually impossible" to get *anything* from a BBBJ. It was the absolute safest thing one could do. I mean, I think they'd have to eat s**t and then suck your dick for you to get anything. Are you absolutely certain you got something from oral sex?

Yeah I used to see her fairly regular, up until last year after she moved to and. Kingstown- I also wrapped up for her pussy & ass but she burned me from BBBJ. Haven't seen her since, this was almost exactly a year ago.
