Local economy in Detroit metro is pretty bleak as are many areas of the country. Even just local bars / restaurants are in a downturn as this unfortunate reality isn't just effectig stripclubs. When there is less disposable income for most everyone it hurts most all business. Supply / Demand issue in 2025.

I have posted this before, but I will reiterate it.

When there is a downturn in the economy more girls turn to stripping, so there is a better selection and better choices. New girls who would have folded sweaters or flipped burgers give stripping a try. There is an increase in the supply of girls willing to be strippers.

Normally the laws of supply and demand dictate that when supply goes up and demand remains constant, prices drop. In this case demand does not remain constant because many guys who like to be with strippers can't afford the clubs. So at the same time there are more girls selling their services, there are less guys willing to buy their services. Again one would think increased supply and lower demand means lower prices.

But it does not. The reason being when there is an increase in supply of girls dancing and the girl wants to get paid $300, she might get 1 customer. Some savvy girls will drop their price point and see 3 guys at $200, pocketing $600, where as the $300 price point girl only sees 1 guy so she walks away from $300.

When demand drops so the are not 3 guys willing to spend $200. There is only 1 guy willing to spend $200. The girls choice becomes sell her services for $300 or sell her services for $200. The choice is obvious even for not very bright strippers. If she thinks you will be her only client she needs to make all of her money off of you, keeping her price higher. She is not doing this to lose money or because you are good looking.

Recession equals a new time of plenty for those mongers with the cash to enjoy it. As there are many more girls and girls willing to spend quality time and give extra good service to try and create a regular. Regulars are few and far between with so few guys being able to afford to go to the club. The prices remain high because of this dynamic.

I don't have a crystal ball, but my gut tells me the status quo will hold. Club owners don't have the financial juice to lobby and any proposed changes by a new administration would unquestionably go public and cause an unwanted ruckus. https://www.mlive.com/news/detroit/2...council_v.html.

That article was from 2010 and the crackdowns really didn't start until Duggan's re-election in 2017. But to your point we will never go back to the clubs as we knew them. The ministries have a lot of influence in the city council and eliminating strip clubs and prostitution are high priorities.

From the reports, it's look to be the higher end clubs (FC, BT's, LS).

I've never been to BTs. FC and LS are all about robs. At an honest club like H8 and Bogies you can say "I'm not going to pay", and leave. At FC and LS, they have your car keys, and perhaps your coat, so you can't leave. Those clubs will always side with the dancer. That's why robs like working at FC and LS. They don't care if you'll never come back, their business model is to have hot girls, and the fish (you) will follow.

My crystal ball says the probability of a more lenient approach to extras in clubs inside the city under a Sheffield administration is zero.

Stopped into Henry's after the game, but before I went inside, I rubbed one off in the car because I knew I was going to raw dog somebody this evening and I wanted to last as long as possible LOL. Was pleasantly surprised to see Arabella almost the second that I walked in. She sat down and talk to me For almost a good 45 minutes. Read before she knew she was going to get called on stage, we went back into the VIP. Amazing service just as I had reported back in June when I first saw her. She started with amazing. BBBJ for one song and then I picked her up and she climbed into CG for one song. Then, as she was writing me, she told "before you come inside me, tell me so I can have you come on my tits". I've flipped her over into RCG and I proceeded to ask her "in what scenario would I be able to come inside you?" She replied "it's actually not a big deal if you do" game on. Flipped her over into doggy style and smashed her from behind for a good 4 to 5 songs. Blasted my entire Bacardi baby batter inside her and left extremely happy. $200 got the job done. Will repeat often.

Same here, only once in the last few years. I posted about it. But, as I posted before, I tend to see the same ladies, once I find some good ones. They value repeat business.

I've only been conned once, and it was one in maybe 40 encounters. I might just be lucky, though I'm disarmingly polite and maybe that has earned some amount of respect and / or hesitancy to defraud. I'm also super conscious of being a victim, so maybe I've just avoided the cons due to my intuition.
