Which is fair. I like to think I hide them pretty well and discreetly haha. In a pinch I put them on the inside (under the car) of my rear passenger side tire, as I know it's too far for the car to recognize if someone pulls the handle. But I prefer somewhere farther away.

I almost always park in an innocuous lot a short distance away at most venues; parlors, sometimes clubs, and all hotels. One for safety and two for privacy. My car in a Burger King lot isn't going to have its plates run by the cops and I'm less likely to get it stolen in a robbery / setup by a pimp.

So I was in the area yesterday after seeing this post figured I'd give it a try. I pulled in to the parking lot which is the only way in and out. As I was getting ready to get out of the car and all black suburban pulled in and parked right on the driveway next to the building. Older gentleman gets out with something in his hands. He gave off detective vibes but that could just be me being overly cautious. But the worst part was I was now stuck in the parking lot because I couldn't get around his vehicle to exit. There was another truck in the driveway to. I had to wait 35 minutes which felt a hell of a lot longer under the circumstances, he finally exits with a folded paper in his hand gets in his car and drives into the lot slowly turns around and then exits. At that point I was beyond spooked and I just left immediately. I will probably give it a little time and then consider retrying. I am definitely not using their parking lot though.
