Posts: 27Yes there is such a law and I just gave you a link. I know people who work in these areas and I have heard from them directly about how they have been the people to make the calls and collect the information to do the contact tracing.

Posts: 805Law requiring rpoerting of STIs and STDs
There is no law requiring the reporting of incidence of ST! S and STDs. If there is, I'd appreciate a weblink reference to the law. The health guidance requires physicians to report incidence of STIs and STDs to the State Health Department and CDC who use the information for public health tracking. They are not required to report PII. Do let this fear stop anyone from getting tested and treated for STIs or STDs. It is a risk we all take if we choose to go raw but get tested and treated if you get one.

Yes, they have to report cases of STIs or STDs, what? When treated? But not PII. I've never been contacted by anyone in the past.

This is why I make sure I always have cash on me before I venture out. I also hide my wallet and phone. At one point, I also had a fake wallet with expired cards and a few bucks in it. Sorry this happened to you, but its experiences like this that highlight the importance of having a protocol and sticking to it. Don't have valuables in the car, scan the car after a date (I've found drugs and other belongings in mine before), have cash up front, reduce risk exposure as much as possible.

Posts: 317Anytime a girl is aggressive, rubbing their hands all over you, acting horny it's a distraction while they scope out your pockets.

Posts: 27That's like saying the cops don't have the money to go around writing tickets. Public health is the whole reason the health dept exists. Yes they really will make contact with everyone you tell them about. It's fortunate that they didn't do these things back when it happened to you, but they do it now. It's now the law in all 50 states.

Gentlemen I feel like a fool basically got robbed by a hooker named Ashley and even though its embarrassing I feel obligated to report this to the monger community.
White girl, about 5'2/3 and maybe 140-150 lbs and a bit thick, hair is cut down to the shoulders and today she was wearing black shorts and tank top with belly exposed and her face has a bit of acne around the chin and has a descent ass. Was my 1st time meeting and she was super excited and acting and moving around too much but she was overall nice and seemed super horny and ready to take care of me, soon as she got in, she grabbed my cock and exposed her breasts. She also said she was from York PA and recently came down here. She also even provided me her # but it turned out to be some dude she knows and that number ends with 7667. Almost forgot. She was standing on Ramsay & S Fulton.
She wanted 40 for CBJ b / c of her looks I figured why not, and I went to the drive through ATM b / c I only had standard 20 on me. As I was using the ATM I think she memorized my debit PIN number (I didn't think she was paying attention). As were driving to the spot she was playing with my cock and balls and pulled my pants down. She basically pulled out the debit card that I used while my pants were down and we were driving to the spot. All of the sudden she needed to stop at the corner store really quick I figured what the hell. Anyways as I was waiting, I got a message from the bank indicating $500 was withdrawn and I knew immediately and blocked the card.
Lesson learned, never drop your guard.

Posts: 406First of all if this a major concern. Then maybe you need to rethink about being in hobby. And then using and condoms and being more selective about who you pick up. Simple.

You can also contact the agency on your own. They will ask for the name of anyone you have been in contact with sexually and if they have been notified. If you give them a name, tell them that person has been notified and is being treated, that's the end if it for you. The name you give them can be made up and simply tell them that's her name, you have no. Number to give them. They do not hound you. They do ask for another call when you have completed your treatment if it isn't a single shot deal. For example, I'm allergic to penicillin and had to take several weeks of pills. Called the same lady back and she closed the file. No big deal.
I called myself because I was once contacted by certified letter about my test results. My wife being nosey opened the letter. You can imagine how that went over.
So get tested, get treated if needed, follow up yourself so there is no reason for them to contact you. It's not a big deal. Keep yourself and those who also play out of harms way as much as possible.

Posts: 162According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website, physicians are required to report cases of STIs (as they're called now) so they can monitor trends. The page also says: "STI and HIV reports are kept confidential. ".
