You are 100% right. I moved here from the SF Bay area 3 years ago and the prices there were pretty much set in stone. The mongers stuck together and did not allow providers to get away with raising their rates. When I left, the HF's were $50-60 and the tip for L1 was $40-$60, L2 was $80-100 and L3 was $140-150. When I came here, the big 6 had a set price of $160 with great service. Then the big 6 collapsed and AMP's and providers started raising their prices. The first price increase came from AMP's themselves as the HF increased to $80, and then the providers started demanding $200 for L2 and maybe L3. Here's the thing, a masseuse would charge $400 for L3 if they could get the idiots to continue to think with their little head than their big head. We, as mongers control the market more than they do if we stick together. L3 is a maximum of $160 and may $180 if she is drop dead gorgeous.
