As I said, the post was cut and paste from SA. So, go to the seeking site itself and get the directions. Surely if they say it will work, it will, and if it doesn't you can get CS to help. IK in the past people who were having difficulty getting payments to work got assistance from CS.

It is possible that the Google card works better on the app than the website, and possibly the Android app. I have android but haven't used the app in a long long time.

Fwiw, the amex gift card was declined for me a few days ago. Not sure if there is more than one type / network but the onei got uses the site AmexGiftCard.com. After it was declined, I called the CS number on the card, they said it was declined for "security". I insisted it was a valid charge, but they said I "have to use a different merchant".
