Hello everyone, it's been quite some time since I've posted anything so I'm happy to contribute. I've been going to Nicole's pretty consistently for the past few years. Recently MMS kept insisting that I try out the new girl they have there. Monica. So yesterday I went in during mid day and I could not have been happier. Aromatherapy means it's an FS place. To open a massage parlor requires licenses. Even if they are fake, getting licenses is a hassle, and if you get inspected or raided, and you don't have valid licenses, you can be shut down even if there is no evidence of anything else. By opening as an "aromatherapy" location, a business can operate without massage licenses. It's pretty ingenious, actually. I learned this first-hand going to a place in Reseda many years ago. They almost got angry when I asked if they do massage. "NO! Aromatherapy only!" and then you go back into the room, the provider brings in a little tray of scents and tells you to disrobe, and the rest is what you would expect. Yes, there are legitimate aromatherapy places, but they won't tell you to disrobe, and they are not in seedy buildings.

This reminds me of one of the "Chiropractor" places. If you go in asking for a massage, they'll laugh at you and tell you that you're at the wrong place. But, if you tell them you're there for the special back adjustment from the nurse, you end up leaving with a happy ending.

The lady told there is a massage place called Heaven in the same area. Has anyone else been to the old gentle care spa location?

Out of towner visiting this weekend: is that the K Spa? That's the only spa-like establishment I can find online near that McDonalds. Appreciate the help.

I appreciate the information in the multiple posts below, even though the board doesn't appear to be very active. I'll be in the Oxnard / Ventura area this weekend and am looking for suggestions for places close by; like within a range of 10 miles. Closer than Thousand Oaks for example. I have been to both and the girls looked in there 30's to me but it's hard to tell with the Asian ladies. BBBJ was available for a big upcharge which I declined.
