I think it is also the way they add one thing onto another as well. A lot of people especially new to the scene don't discuss everything before going to a VIP. It is very very Hard to negotiate during a VIP. And the customers who pay those prices probably don't try other avenues due to various risk levels. Plus they don't ever go on sites like these.

Being in the hobby for a while now it's definitely the thrill. Just going to the SC especially high mileage clubs just going in the with the mindset your going to have a good time.
