What are your go-to methods for avoiding unwanted pregnancies these days? Vasectomy is no option for me as of now. Is Plan B sufficient enough?

Pull-out is what I'd guess most guys use, yes it's possible you get some sperm in pre-cum, but a few things have to go wrong for a pregnancy to occur. Also, as you get older, there are fewer viable swimmers in there too.

The only other workaround I can think of is to try a different google voice number. If you travel next time you go overseas just get a cheap sim card. Use the ding app to keep it topped monthly to avoid losing the number and then it's an official number.
