Exactly. The standard is the two step system. You get an initial address usually around the area or the specific hotel. Then once you're there you get either exact address or room number. That's the standard approach and should be no issues with doing it that way.

I don't think I've ever gotten the room or apartment number ahead of time when going to a hotel or apartment. And 95% of the gals I've seen were not a scam. And we are talking ~200 over 20 years. It's highly unusual for a provider to offer that info before you arrive.

Room number upfront, that seems like a stretch. Just use common sense, if it's (price vs look vs services) too good to be true it is, without probably.
