I had a sore back so I thought I would get a decent massage for less QQ1 offered a Groupon so I called and they said same price if I just come. $50.00 for 1/2.

Then I saw they were on Rub maps so maybe more. I got there no table shower Mama set me up with a newbie I think, No English, not a good massage, no extras, warm wash cloth clean up, windows had curtains, I will not repeat and I don't see what they offer. Massage is bad, no extra, place does not feel nice. That's what I get for trying to save a couple of bucks.
I am looking for some new providers in the Springfield area. I like a smaller provider and B or C is just fine. I also like an open menu and someone who understands some of the limitations of an octogenarian. I may be old but i'm not dead.

The girls have been changing a lot at QQ1 recently and it may because Jenny keeps it legit. At. 8 for an hour she's also on the pricey side of legit. I almost always get a good massage there but I guess you drew the short straw. On the other side of the road is Asian Hot Stone. At. 65 (last I checked) for the hour it's every bit as good as I've had at QQ1 and a bit cheaper. Msn Nancy is very meticulous at keeping it that way.

I tend to go with hours in determining what type of place it is. If normal business hours 9 am to 5 pm or 9 pm Vs places open to 11 or 12 am. In general only groceries, target and Walmart are open that late.

RubMaps lists both legit and others. If the place has a table shower it usually offers extras (TS is not in accordance with VA massage rules). That's also a question you can ask on the phone. No TS and few reviews tends to indicate a legit place. Also, I don't think I have ever seen a Groupon for a place with extras.

I went and saw Amy at Anna Hessentaoil in Annandale. She is an OK looking older Chinese lady. It was $50 for 30 minutes and $100 extra for FS. Her getting naked did not make her look any better, but OK for the price. Good luck!

Lemon was quite accommodating, although it was 80 for the hour and 200 tip, for a single shot. All inclusive. She did take care of the boys for a long time in the run up. Again, thanks for the info!

At the three AMPs I mentioned, 1. 4 is for 69 and CFS.

Last week I had stopped by Won World Massage in Manassas (it may be called something else now as Chinese parlors tend to change their names often probably to stay under the radar from LE). I saw Cici, middle aged Chinese, ok looking face, average body. You can text them and they will reply back (most times). It's 50 fr 30 minutes and 70 for the hour. She was wearing the typical Chinese AMP attire, yoga pants and a t-shirt. Massage was good with good effort. For extras, I asked about BJ and offered 100 and she accepted, but then I told her no cover and she balked at doing BBBJ for 100, so I opted for a just a good edging HJ with some dick slapping. She took direction well and I busted a big nut from her edging me and doing different HJ techniques. Tipped 60.

This week I hit up a Korean spa (I think it's Korean as rubmaps says it's Korean) in Woodbridge called Healing Therapy, off of Lake Ridge Road in the offices below another AMP, the Chinese parlor Healthy Aroma Therapy. I was tempted to go back to the Healthy Aroma Therapy and see Amy again to bend her over the table and go to pound town but I'm always up for trying a new place. Bibi was my provider, a fairly tall, slim older Korean with very good English, but sadly wearing a tight dress and not my favorite AMP outfit of jean shorts. She said the half hour rate was 50, which I thought was odd for a Korean parlor in this area (Korean AMPs normally charge 60 for 30 and 80 for an hour). I had already showered so I didn't ask for a TS. Anyway, I could tell right off the bat Bibi is experienced in the AMP game, and although she was flirty and jovial, she started off the massage with no oil / cream and that lasted for only several minutes before she asked me what I wanted and how much I would pay. That was a big turn off, so I start the negotiation and say "everything" and she asks how much I pay. I ask her to name her price but she isn't naming any price and wants me to name my price first. We go back and forth a few times with the b. S. Negotiation (I'm being cordial with her) and I tell her, give me a real massage first. Bibi got the cream and she did put effort into the massage. On the flip. I told her just do HJ and she was fine with that but wanted 60 and wanted it up front, and if I wanted topless, that's another 20. I said I'm good with 60 if you do a good tease HJ. Bibi took direction well and was a bit surprised on how much control I had to keep my load in and not bust a nut after a minute LOL I ended up busting a good nut with about 2 minutes left of my session. I would not recommended Bibi as she was all business and looking to get me off quick and get paid for doing 10 or 15 minutes of work. No thanks, these providers have to learn that they need to put in some work and not think they can poke and prod for a few minutes and then dive right into services and think they are going to get a monger out in less than 15 minutes.

The tipping structure most of these guys are talking about gets thrown out the window at legit spots. Your tips should start at 15-20% and up for a decent massage. The businesses do not pay well so the therapists rely on tips to make it worth their time. Your 10-15 tips make sense if you know extras are on the menu and they are not playing ball.

Not an argument here, Rufus, I offer a similar perspective. At a legit place, my approach has been slightly different. At a busy restaurant where It may take an hour for dinner, a 15-20% tip is pretty standard for a waiter who probably spends less than 10-15 minutes serving you, while also earning the same percentage from 3-4 other tables. That 15-20% multiplied by the cost of dinner and # of tables they handle. A highly trained masseuse doesn't have that option, they serve in a very physically demanding way for the entire hour, and you benefit in a healthy way. Unless the masseuse at a legit shop is terrible or not friendly, consider starting at 20% and more. As Rufus wrote, they rely on tips, and it isn't easy to be a legit asian masseuse.

I am thrilled that you enjoyed Gunston, as I frequent it there for a legitimate massage with Anna. Did you see her or someone else?

Typically, for legit places, the tip is 20-25 bucks max. Just my theory based upon the tipping structure of a non-legit true AMP, in which the HJ rates start anywhere from fifty and up. No reason to pay basic hand job tipping for non-legit places. Hope this helps.

Again, Gunston, D's Massage in Fairfax and Radiant Massage are wonderful places to relax after a long day at work for a strong hour-long session without haggling with come-and-go therapists. At least sometimes, LOL! As always, YMMV depends on the therapist.

Following up to confirm, Gunston is a legit spot with some solid older masseuse. No table shower but they are still wildly detailed. 1 hr massage with body scrub +backwalk only ran $ and 15 tip. With that being said, what's the tipping culture when it comes to massages?

I was thinking 10-15 for a legitimate massage and starting at 60 for anything over the top (based off of your reviews).

Asking so I know moving forward.

Just walked in and was heard Mikkie was busy at that moment instead MMS showed me Coffee who looked attractive. She hit all the right spots in TS and ST. 69 and long DATY. She enjoyed my cat bath skills felt like squirted a little on my face. Drenched enough and then the boom boom part was fun. Nutted on her back.
