Hello gents. Gleaned a lot of info from this sub so thanks for your contributions. I'll be visiting the Detroit area with a couple of buddies soon for the first time and just wanted to confirm if Flight Club is still the place for the hottest dancers in the region after the ownership change? We don't mind the prices and not looking for extras beyond a HJ / BJ. Just want to have a good time with the prettiest dancers around. We were thinking of checking out Flight Club and Landing Strip and maybe Silver Cricket but we're open to suggestions. Thanks again for your help!

I would consider the top 3 to be Flight Club, Landing Strip, BT's.

Silver Criket is more dive-bar vibes, IMO.

The Dizzy Duck. Wow, that takes me waaayy back! I remember the bouncer / security guard had a shotgun in plain sight on several visits. Wasn't that place practically under an overpass? Doubt I ever went there totally sober.

Indeed, Dizzy Duck was quite the place! I went there off and on from 1987 and into the 1990's. There was a then 19 year old dancer named Jenny who worked there in the very early 1990's who used to love getting spanked during lap dances. She'd also share her booze w / regulars and let me finger her front and back.

I was driving by during late 2018, just before it was completely torn down, and it looked like a bus had run into it! I think what happened was scrappers stole bricks bit by bit until the side facing East had finally fallen in. Just for old time's sake, I parked in the lot nearby and climbed down into the remains for 2 minutes or less, grabbing a brick for a souvenir paperweight on the way out. This was it at the end of the end. Ah memories. !

That would have to be the shuttered Club Venus at Michigan and Wyoming. A more regrettable place than Chapeau Vert.

But TBH I did run into one of my ATFs at the Vert who was a legend from the Booby Trap glory days. I'm having trouble recalling her dancer name, but we had fun at Player's, Pantheion, Penthouse back in the early to mid aughts.

Dizzy Duck was a great place. Couldn't do anything in the club but get a lap dance but most of the dancers were up to outside the club action. Did a few of them back then.

Could be. I didn't register as being particularly short but then I have a hard time judging stripper's heights, especially when I'm sitting below the stage or she's squatting next to me. If it was the same dancer then I'm glad I passed. I should note that she first asked if I wanted dances, which were 3 for 100.

These may be two different Mia's. The 2023 Mia I knew quit dancing last year. The Mia I met this year claimed to have only started dancing in January. They are somewhat similar in looks and both from Ohio. To add to the similarities, they both hustle way too much and are better off avoided, notwithstanding the good looks. Just my opinion.

I think you are talking about the short Mia originally from Toledo. I tried her when she first started dancing in June of 2023. I am sure she is better now, but she was nervous and hustling back then.

The next night (Friday) I was back in the club and there wasn't much that I was interested in. I tipped Mia on stage. Blonde white girl with naturals. And she came by right after her set. Several guys had tipped her and it was kind of obvious that she was going to hit up each in turn because she got to asking about dances very quickly. Her stated price for extras was 300 for a BJ and 600 for FS. With an opening offer like that I was pretty sure the negotiation wasn't going to get me anywhere so I simply passed and she headed off to her next target. At which point I decided to cut my losses and head out.

I always clarify at the table and one of the things I clarified for was she would be naked, but when we go into the VIP she says she changed her mind she doesn't want to be naked. I say that is ok.

Then she tried dancing far enough away that I couldn't reach her. I ask to please come closer and she asks what if I don't want to. I reply it is called a lap dance, but we can end the session if you changed your mind about that also.

Then as the music changes from song 1 to song 2, she says we have been back here for 3 songs and you only have 7 more left. I say I am sorry we said no song count, which she counters means 10 songs. I reply this is too much drama, lets end the session.

She says you still have to pay me for the dances. I reply that is correct, I will do that. She says that she charges $30 a song and we were back here for 3 songs so I owe her $90. I say I know the price is $25 dollars a song and I think you are cheating me on the song count so I am going to ask the attendant how many songs it was. She objects saying I am not allow to pay her unless it is in the VIP. I walk out and she comes running after me. I tell the attendant and say we are having a little dispute can you tell me how many songs we were back there? The guy checks sheet and replies you were back for 2 songs. I take $50 and hand it to her. She refuses to take it and starts arguing with the attendant that it was 3 songs. I put the money on the little ledge next to her and say good night and head over to Criket.

Kennedy wanted 400 with me too. She said she usually gets 400 to 500. I said that I wouldn't go over 300 (I'm normally in the 250 to 300 range). She sat on that for a while before finally agreeing to go for 300. Well worth it for me at that price. She said she was working a double so I might've caught her at the end of the month really needing the money.

I'm curious - what makes you think Bogie's has gone downhill? Downhill from what? I've been going there, albeit sporadically, for about ten years; I don't recall Bogie's being up somewhere high enough to come downhill FROM. LOL.

I laughed when I read your comment, because I did go to Club Venus as often as I could about 12-15 years ago or more. I am sure I looked so out of place there. I took to wearing an old black leather jacket with holes in it that I bought for one dollar at the old Salvation Army thrift store on Michigan Avenue, just so I could blend in a little. I thought I was hanging out with badasses because the bouncer required a pat-down for weapons at the entrance. That is the only club I have visited where I could see other customers getting serviced by peelers in the VIP cubicles across from mine. Good times!
