However, I had a very mediocre experience this week -- and thus was reminded this is a YMMV hobby and any day might be some provider's "not really into it today" day (sad when that happens to be the day we see them).

MW is in a nice location, good parking, and the inside is clean and well-kept.

I had an appointment and arrived on time. I was told they were not busy and there were no interruptions while I was there.

I was greeted when I entered, paid the house for the hour at the desk. And was escorted to a nearby studio / room with standard accoutrements. I was aware no TS would be offered (none on-site, just a solo-standup shower) so I undressed and laid on table. My massage technician (MT) returned with my change, and left it on the table (with the tip money I left there as this was my first appointment with the MT. She was typical MT in looks and deportment, with perhaps a more fit form than some of the (much older) MTs I see on occasion.

When she entered, I was face down on the table and she covered most of me to protect me from the cool air.

She said a few things (friendly as best I could tell but I had a hard time understanding).

The massage was medium with no flirting, and no banter. Not a bad massage -- but not particularly good either.

After about 40 minutes, she reached under for a bit of tease and then told me to flip.

The experience continued to be uninspired / mediocre L1.

Yeah, ironic, part of the whole YMMV with these places. I know dudes who swear by MMT but I've been there twice and left dissatisfied with the experience, yet have visited AHT at least a dozen times and every visit has been a decent massage with a CBJ+CFS finish for 70 HF + 120 (2 or 3 times 140) tip. I am a creature of habit. And I keep going back to Orange Spa in Vienna (21XX Gallows Rd Suite D 2nd FL) to see Sarah.

My experience at Wed spa was interesting. I first texted the number and was given my choice and was asked to call when I arrived. Called and said Summer was available. After a couple of reviews of Healthy Aroma Therapy in Woodbridge, I decided to take a gamble and see what this place is about. The spa is in an older professional business park, next to a residential neighborhood, so real easy to blend in. The only gripe I have about this place is you have to stand outside the spa and wait for them to open up after ringing the bell, no two door system. I.
