I doubt this actually took place, as if this were to go to trial, her defense would have a feel day with the "repeat customer". Also, police would not put a civilian in a situation that would pose a threat to that person. I am guessing they were after her for some time and framed it like a sting, but I could be wrong.

On this particular point, Hawaii Revised Statutes section 712-1200, entitled "Prostitution," was amended in 2021 to state: "This section shall not apply to any member of a police department, a sheriff, or a law enforcement officer acting in the course and scope of duties; provided that the member of a police department, sheriff, or law enforcement officer is engaging in undercover operations; provided further that under no circumstances shall sexual contact initiated by a member of a police department, sheriff, or law enforcement officer; sexual penetration; or sadomasochistic abuse be considered to fall within the course and scope of duties". In regard to Pamela, I haven't yet seen her again with certainty. I was talking about this on the downtown forum, but it feels like ever since they installed cameras it's been dead downtown, I think collectively we should relocate to School Street between Liliha and Nuuanu, let's make downtown great again for mongering.
