When I say sanitized, think alcohol wipes over any area they will eventually touch you. It's safe to put an alcohol solution literally anywhere on your body, that's how medical staff would sanitize any area on your body. Prolonged exposure will dry out your skin, and any open wounds might feel some stinging. Other than that, it's just a cool sensation that dries off fairly quickly.
