That's when I went, late 80's early 90's. I stopped for a few reasons. One of the main ones was that one of the ladies there came into my place of employment at the time. I don't think she recognized me but if she did, she didn't let on. I went there one more time after that and was kind of surprised that when I gave them my (hobby) name, they had a rolodex file on me with every girl I'd seen there. Never went back after that. I've been a long time visitor at Mandela when I was in my 20's. It's not that there are 50+ women there, it's the lack of service and like you mentioned, high price. I was going there when most of the women there were in there 40's and I've seen all of them. I think it was last year that I went and the massage was shit, the finale was decent, rushed and more of a chore than service. The hourly rate was overpriced and it wasn't even the hour. I got maybe a 5-minute massage before the flip and I was out the door in 30-minutes. It was really fun back in the day. But lack of talent and of course, you can't be telling the new-hires of the extras, unless they are veteran therapists.

I wouldn't miss it if it did close as you can get much better service and better looking women elsewhere. Mandela is just that, a memory. They gave me an amazing time for a long time. Everything comes to an end.
