Out of curiosity, do you know if that can eventually go away on its own or does it always stay with you until you treat it? I think I might've had that early this year, sounds like what I experienced after a fishy visit, but I never got treatment for it.

I've had it several times and it always went away. Balantis is just inflammation, same way if you scrape your knee it gets bigger from inflammation.
