Until we know what the full process will be like. It sounds like it's only a quick video selfie to match your uploaded photos. And it says it's private. Meaning only for Seeking's temporary use and their eyes only. Not meant to show the selfie video on public profile. There's no mention of hard PII info such as SSN, Name, Address, etc. being gathered. So a bit early to get paranoid over it. And it may not be required of long established members. It said for new users/members.

I think it's a great thing as well. Get rid of bots, catfishes, spammers, etc. It may not reduce it 100% but it's a good start. The only thing it won't work against is full on prostitutes signing up as a fresh sugarbaby. The pro will simply do the selfie video. Google Pay doesn't work anymore. They'll ask you to verify your account after payment. If your name is blacklisted, you won't pass the verification.
