That was the entire reason I commented. This thread is Richmond Va. A North Carolina law does not apply in VA. No need to scare mongers with information that does not apply to them in VA. I quickly looked up the changes in VA law that do apply to mongers in VA. Anyone interested just search Virginia house bill 51. Here is the jist of it cut & pasted again.

Va House Bill 51.

Prostitution; solicitation; penalties. Increases from a Class 1 misdemeanor to a Class 6 felony the penalty for a third or subsequent offense of solicitation of prostitution from an adult. The bill also makes it a Class 5 felony to solicit prostitution from any minor. Under current law, any person who solicits prostitution from a minor is guilty of a Class 6 felony if the minor is 16 years of age or older or a Class 5 felony if the minor is younger than 16 years of age. Finally, the bill increases the fines for certain offenses related to sex trafficking from $100 to $1,000 and from $500 to $2,500, respectively.

I feel like the actual catches are pretty rare outside of the AMPs. Most news I see is always the underage stings, which I'm quite sure they will go for if the penalties are being increased.

It's been awhile since I checked in on Richmond. Richmond was my area for 15 years. I'm checking in on a few old old favorites to see if anyone has any information.
