I have been building computers since 1982 & disagree with this list of best to worst HDDs. Just literally flip the list 180 and that has been my personal experience to the point I will not consider any Western Digital HDD / SSD products at any price. Back in 2010 I built a system that had 4 wd HDD they all went bad within a month WD replaced them under warranty the drive went bad again replaced under warranty again this happened two more times they gave me a refund. Maxtor was purchased by Seagate so I bought 4 Seagate drives that worked flawlessly for 8 years until a short in the electrical system in my house burned through the surge protector & computer. I have many many other incidents of computer failures. Plus this video shows server farm industrial use HDDs which at that level have to be in a sterile cold room, basically the Operating Room of a hospital type situation if not the drives will fail inside of 18 months on average. Consumer use is very different. I am currently building a Lian Li RGB EVO Lamborghini case. In this system I will be using an AMD Threadripper 48 core processor 256 GB ram memory Radeon 7900 xtx GPU three motherboard mounted Samsung 990 Pro m. 2 2 tb drives & four 6 tb Seagate Iron Wolf HDDs. This will be a water-cooled system with two 120 mm radiators, one for the CPU the other for the GPU. So to put the fries in the bag (as this generation says) I will not be using anything by Western Digital. I believe you are relaying information you do not understand or have fully analyzed.
