I just thought I would add an additional element that I discovered some guys don't realize.

If you were busted for soliciting before, even 30 years ago and paid the traffic ticket type penalty, you have a first offense already. Most criminal attorneys would just have urged you to pay the small fine in the past and move on, as it was a light misdemeanor.

This means if you're caught under the new law, you are facing 39 months in prison for a second offense. A guy who DM'd me thought there was some kind of statute of limitations on prior convictions. There is not. If you've been busted before, DO NOT take the risk in NC. There are other places better suited to your situation. Save up and travel.

I agree with you that the World's Oldest Profession will not be stopped. The point is that I don't want my life, or yours to stop, as we know it, as a result of a junkie that LEO wants to pretend is an innocent princess who just needs a $12 k investment to turn her life around. I'm betting that 9. 5 out of 10 are taking that deal after the HSI psychologist begins working on her. Their loyalty is not the thing we should be banking on. New levels of security are really the goal here.

I am confident that 90% of the working women out there feel the same way and don't want anything to do with law enforcement. There's no doubt this law is real and the dangers are real, but don't shoot the messenger who tested the waters on day one. Plus, I know this girl. She's a regular and only see's a few guys. She has a life to live and is happy having things just the way they are on the side.

I think that's going to be a major uphill battle. Whoever goes against this is going to be seen as someone trying to get rid of a law to end human trafficking.

I have lots of experience with this kind of thing. First thing. Criminal laws rarely get repealed. The best hope would be that the US Circuit Court of Appeals or Supreme Court would deem something in the law unconstitutional, but there's a couple problems with that. First the same kind of right-wingers currently run SCOTUS and second, there really isn't anything unprecedented in the law. The most plausible theory for how that could happen would be for a Lodger to argue that they had no 'Foreseeability' if action was taken on them for missing that they had a guest providing services staying with them, when that Lodger was also compliant with the training elements of the law. Since that part of the law doesn't go into effect until next summer, we're 3-4 years away from that happening, at best. Knowing my way around Raleigh though, my suspicion is that NC Appeals Courts will simply dismiss these charges before they can be kicked up to a higher court to avoid the law being legally challenged on a Federal basis. Politically this one is also impossible for legislators to mess with. We know who has majority in the state legislature right now, and they have no plans to change the law. Even if that changed, the blue guys would risk future rival campaign ads calling them out for 'enabling Human Trafficking'. None of them want that. The damage is done, and now we have to deal with that reality.

So I met up with a friend with benefits the other day. Just a pretty female friend. Private rsidence, so I was far less worried, but still worried nevertheless. While eating her out, I stopped to ask her if she knew about the new law and she had no idea. Had never heard about it. I wasn't a bit surprised, and what followed also was what I expected her to say, "No fucking way I'm ever working with the police!

I bet that's the attitude of a lot of girls in the game. But we shall see.

2. They're going to offer her $, that's ultimately going to come from you. That's an entirely different calculus.

3. They're going to use a psychologist to make the offer to her. This is to convince her that mongers have been responsible for keeping her down. And that we've been benefitting from using her, an otherwise good girl who might have had a family, a house, and a career if MONGERS weren't keeping her in this cycle. They'll be telling her that the monger will be slapped with a permanent No-Contact Order, so she literally never has to see you or hear from you again. Except in court. Think of the choices. The authorities are banking these women will sell you out rather than going to prison. If a get out of jail free card is presented, you can bet they'll sell you out before they can rot. These women don't know you.
