The latest is that I got this message on Signal from some girl that I must have talked to, probably in Asheville. I can't figure out her Seeking profile, so maybe I already blocked and deleted her? And I can't even find the rest of her Signal messages so I probably deleted those too, a few days ago

But my point is that I don't even remember who she is and I've just been back on Seeking for two weeks, so it must have been recent, and we must have barely talked or I would remember.

But this is what she wrote:

Exactly. She said she was going to show the entire chat, on Signal, to the police and I would be arrested for "solicitation". But she's the one who messages me every day, and wants to get together.

I pointed out that the chat also shows that she is threatening me, and insisting I send her money, which is extortion. She agreed and said "blackmail" is more accurate, but she doesn't care.

She doesn't have my name or phone number, even. But I did send her my pics, which I know can be used with Facecheck to get my real name, which is bad. I wish there was some way to change this. I need to be much more careful who I send my pics to now.

There are so many fake profiles on Seeking and they are often hitting me up. I used to think they had someone in a call center in Pakistan doing the chatting, but I think they are using AI bots now.

They usually live in "Atlanta" and you ask them where, and they always say "Midtown". Not anything more specific or different than that.

I had the idea to ask them what grocery store they usually go to and one said "Meijr and Valuestore". I don't think those are in GA. But they never get this simple question right. They never say "Publix" or "Kroger" or "Ingles" or anything else that could possibly be correct.
