She met me at my hotel. I'm outside and she pulls up and rolls the window down and smoke starts billowing out like in a Cheech and Chong movie. I could also smell a metallic smell to her and it made me think I was smelling meth. I don't know what meth smells like, but if I had to guess, that would be it. Is it enough reason to block even after first enthusiastic message??

Back in the good old days of OkCupid where "casual sex" meant the women were ready to meet immediately if they liked you, I had a fake account to stalk an ex. It was filled with first google image search results for "asian cosplayer" so it was beyond obvious that it was fake. Even so, to my surprise, I ended up receiving hundreds of messages in mere days.

They really don't care how you look for real they care about the cash. They will after chatting a few times ask you to send a pic. This is what I do and I will get a few new messages a day. It's like anywhere else online. Your return rate as a male is going to be low. That's just how it is. These girls get dozens of messages. You're a new profile. Be patient and when you send an ice breaker message, make it sound human so they know you're not a scammer in Indonesia. It's going to take longer than 3 days for you to get any traction.

SA is a lot of work. It was a great site in 2015-2018, then like all things internet it has devolved. Then add COVID and the elimination of Craigslist and Backpage. I'd guess it is now 90% worthless (scams, bots, content sellers, and providers that are just a notch above SW.) Having said that, there are some genuine contacts to be made, especially international. Here in the ATL and surrounding areas, you'll have to send / sift thru 10 emails to find 1 genuine contact. That's before even accounting for chemistry, attraction, likeability, etc. If you are merely looking to monger here in the USA, TER is a much better site for the money.

SA international is still close to a 2018 experience, IMO.
