I have gone to 1021 many times, sometimes have to circle the block for parking, I prefer parking on the main street, but never have I had any issues with parking or safety. , I have only been to 1021 since I always have a very good session.

I've only been to Smilers and 1021. Smilers has a parking lot and is no worry at all. You just park and go up the stairs. 1021 is on a busy street, but there is generally free and available parking. The neighborhood is populated by mostly Dominican Republic immigrants, so they will leave you alone. You look for the door covered with posters and the address. It is very inconspicuous. Then you walk upstairs. If you park on a side street, it is just normal urban houses. Of the two places, I prefer 1021.
