I've noticed a large number in Tampa and a few in Pinellas that have closed permanently or closed for renovations. I think some are waiting to see how the law pans out. Out of state license holders probably decided it's not worth the risk to get a professional violation too.

Lily spa (former Body Temple) appears to be renovating. One thing in the new law is no dark tint in massage vestibules. It appears they have removed the limo tint and now have clear windows and and a somewhat legit looking lobbing.

All this will probably push more shops to go locked door and appointment only.

Who's closed Sunday?

I just talked to Vinca on the phone and they advised that they were closed for 'vacation' until next week.

In the spirit of the board, let's get back to reviews.

Made a recent trip to VM. Although I've read great reviews about the new gals, I decided to ask for Monica. She has that asian MILF look, I like.

Gave the expected gift on arrival and waited for my turn in the que. The bottleneck seems to be the TS shower room. They could probably benefit from having a second TS room.

The statute (Florida Statute 322.212) makes the mere possession of a fake ID a crime, and the ID does not need to be used for any particular purpose. If you are caught with a fake ID, the penalty can be filed (at the discretion of the States Attorney) as a third-degree felony carrying a jail sentence of up to 5 years with a fine up to $5000 (that's a lot of hobby-dollars). This CLEARLY does not apply to a NON-government issued form of identifcation.

So, if one wanted to employ use of a "fake ID", make sure it's a bogus Employment Badge or Identification, or some other NON-GOVERNMENT issued ID ... even a business card! ... with the necessary information to satisfy any AMP asking for ID. If a customer were to DO that, once you leave the AMP, there is nothing tying you back to that bogus logbook entry, as long as you don't show LE your "fake" business card, Employee Badge/ID, or any other non-government issued ID you may have used (this to address QuartzBs concern below).

For the full text of House Bill 197, CLICK HERE and draw your attention to Paragraph F, beginning at PDF document line number 250 on page 11, for specific reference to the matters discussed above. For anyone paranoid about links, or otherwise click-challenged, I'll paste a snippet here again that Thunter pasted a few days ago:

(f) A massage establishment must maintain a complete set
of legible records in English or Spanish, which must include the
date, time, and type of service or treatment provided; the full
legal name of the employee who provided the service or
treatment; and the full legal name, home address, and telephone
number of the client or patient. Medical records may satisfy
this requirement if the records include the specified
information. A copy of the client's or patient's photo
identification may be used to provide the full legal name and
home address of the client or patient. Records required under
this paragraph must be maintained for at least 1 year after a
service or treatment is provided. All information required under
this paragraph must be collected and recorded before any service
or treatment is provided to a client or patient. The
establishment must confirm the identification of the client or
patient before any service or treatment is provided to the
client or patient.

NOTICE WHERE IT STIPULATES "PHOTO IDENTIFICATION" IT DOES NOT DEMAND A "GOVERNMENT ISSUED" FORM OF IDENTIFICATION!!! While casual readers may want to infer that requirement, such "inferences" are not part of a lawyer's lexicon, nor an actual part of this law.

For anyone getting 'pulled over' by LE after an AMP visit, ostensibly for some minor traffic violation, and then being interrogated by the deputy, the YouTube video here would seem to be a safe, albeit "ballsy" way to handle that.

I'm sure that would piss off the deputy for not being able to use you for their harrassment objectives of the AMP, so I'm also guessing they'd make that 'traffic stop' as long as painful as possible, but as long as you've done nothing else illegal, LE should have nothing on you. JUST DON'T ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS! ... it's your right NOT to do so.

The I'd must be government issued per statute. Oh by the way, you see the cameras in front of every single massage place? You ever heard of facial recognition? Really you honestly think you're a mystery? And the hotels? Same thing. And you don't think they turn over these videos, or they can't get warrants from them? Really? You don't think they can put an unmarked car near one of these places? Webcams on adjoining buildings.

Guys, look the police aren't stupid. They know about every massage parlor, every aromatherapy shop, they know the names and locations of every single girl who works on escort alligator and in the hotels. I spoke recently with a long time sheriff. He said "there's no victim, these are two consenting parties. " and this simply isn't a priority to them. If the state or local government wants to shut any of these places down, they'll simply use confidential informants. They send someone in trouble with the law, offer them immunity, give them cash, and send them in. These guys can get naked, touch the girls whatever. Oh at this whole donation bs, yeah right!

My advice to all of you: Don't give the police a reason to make you a priority or a problem. Show up sober, no drugs don't get rough with the girls or rip them off. When the politicians and the the's office decide to make an example, they're going to do it. Your I'd and paperwork in the place isn't going to mean a thing. Oh and any idea that the cops can't go into the massage places without a warrant, guess what, they can anytime. It's a closely regulated industry. I didn't speak with my attorney concerning aromatherapy. By the way I don't care if the cops promise you the moon, assert directly your right to remain silent and call out the 5th amendment when you do it and immediately demand you speak to an attorney before answering any questions. With all the identity theft going on, I don't like the idea of giving any random people a copy of my info. I also said it sounds like they're going to be copying it soon, and that just makes me nervous to have a copy of my actual I'd being kept at one of these places..

Flew into St Pete AP Tuesday morning and had time to kill. I thought maybe a strip club. Headed to "Reign" on Ulmerton but upon arriving to the closed spot I realized it was only 1030 am. Next thought was massage. I thought it was meant to be when I saw the open neon signs almost right across the street for stress relief. After a quick google of "Voyage" it looked exactly what I sought. Located at the end of a plaza, plenty of parking, enter a small room to ring doorbell with camera. Soon, a woman opened the door, 40's, dark blonde, not made up or dressed up at all so I wasn't certain if she was a worker or just a host. Went to a nice clean room she asked for the fee 1.6 I handed 2 wasn't given any change nbd. I waited for awhile until the same lady returned and started undressing immediately. (worker) I layed down on my stomach to which she had me flip and kept talking about nothing making it hard to well be hard. She had a great body petite spinner nice skin looked good for her age. I could tell she is the get in / out type of girl by the overacting and constant you want to finish for me line. All that said she did the job I just wish there was actually some body rub involved. I did see another girl that was there as well omw out. She was much younger, darker features, very much plus sized. So they have some variety in the stable.

He said he doesn't ever make fake licenses, as it would be illegal and would jeopardize his business. He also said that you don't really want a fake licenses, anyway because almost every state has a law against possessing a falsified government I'd, and it could actually result in jail time. But, he asked if the law said that they had to use a government issued identification for verification? If not, would a company badge work.

I told him I didn't think a company badge would work as I think they're supposed to verify address. But, I also didn't think there was any requirement that it be a government issues I'd. (When all this hit, I had read the posts here and the law itself, and I remembered that it just said that the parlors were supposed to check an I'd, not stipulation that it be government issued).

He had a suggestion: a few years ago, they had a neighborhood halloween party. He and his wife went as Jerry & Elaine from Seinfeld. For the party, he printed up two Del Boca Vista "Guest" badges for them to wear with their costumes. Basically it was like a cross between a drivers licenses and a company badge. It has their picture, some resident / address in Del Boca Vista, with VISITOR written across it. He said he could do something like that pretty easy, with a fake name, fake address, and all that. And since it was not a falsified government I'd, it wouldn't be illegal. And if the law didn't stipulate a government I'd, it should be acceptable.

I told him that would be perfect, and he said he'd make me one. But, I also mentioned that given how unpopular this law was, I bet he could probably sell a a couple hundred of these in Florida, and asked if he'd be interested.

He said that's not really his business, he really just works with businesses. But, he said if I thought there was a market for it, I should set up an Etsy shop. He said the card printers typically cost several thousand dollars, so it doesn't really make sense to buy one for a couple hundred cards. But, he said if I wanted to handle the front end through an Etsy or Shopify, he could handle the back end printing he did say they would probably end up being done in weekly batches.

I'm not totally sure of the production cost on these. Based on the conversation, I'm guessing it would probably be about $30, plus shipping for one of these. But, with that as a baseline, I was wondering if any of you would be interested in something like these? I know I'm not going to get rich on this, and that's not even the point. I'm just thinking if I can help the community out, and maybe subsidize a a couple visits for myself, it would be worth it.
