Yes, I agree. I am hesitant with the mix of surveillance and "vetting" used by the traveling asian companies. Ring camera, histories are in High Resolution and there is no telling who else can see the feeds. Feels as if that is a perfect mix to blackmail, or at least get your ass put under significant legal duress. I will not agree to provide, IDs, real work information nor pay any deposit. It is just not worth the risk right now IMO until the laws are sorted out.

That has always been my rule even before learning about the new law. I'm not giving any of them any real information for any reason.

Also a vice investigation of airbnbs houses being used by Chinese guest with ring door bell camera footage of mongers coming and going. Saw allot of work truck in those videos. Looks like Its time to head back into retirement again!

Many people do not realize this fact. You can get arrested for any reason. It might not stand up in court but guess what the arrest never goes away.

Many of you complain about $200 rates and now you're talking about having a lawyer on retainer? Do you realize how much that costs?

Also, just getting arrested is enough to really mess up your life, even if charges are dropped later.

This is just a simple case of two consenting adults going inside a hotel room. Nothing more.

IF the managers happened to see suspicious activity. They don't have any videos inside to see what happened.

Only thing that can be caught is if it was an under-aged situation. Anything else, there is very little to worry about, since there is no survillence inside.

Also, a man (you or I) could have gone in, to perform a moving help, IT support, grocery, tutoring, english language support, WHATEVER.

I'm not a lawyer but I'd say multiple men coming and going from a room, especially if they're all staying for certain increments, would be enough probable cause for a warrant. If a cop happened to hear "screams" or other signs of distress that might constitute enough exigent circumstances for them to enter the room. I'll also say that even if they don't get a warrant or have exigent circumstances, they can still tail you and hope you do something dump like roll a stop sign. While you have protections, that doesn't mean that some other monger won't spill the beans hoping to get let off. There's also the other thorny issue which is that it's hard to know who is on probation and who is not. It's also hard to know the terms of their probation. If the chick is on probation then her PO has pretty broad let me mess with their day just because freedom.

I'm not saying not to partake in the hobby after the law but just be careful and maybe consider having a lawyer on retainer. I'd also avoid certain areas depending on the provider's volume. Just like with AMPs I imagine the Cary PD will be more active shutting things down than the Raleigh PD.

Given prices are what they are I'd also advise that guy start demanding more. With that kind of law in effect there's little chance I'm walking up to a strange room. Instead I recommend telling the provider to let you in a specific side door or meeting in the lobby. If you're paying over $300/ hr and they won't do that then move on.

The Republicans wrote this law and pressured the governor into signing it. After all how can he not sign a bill that says its stopping HT in NC. We need to start voting for people that want to legalize the business of sex between consenting adults. Get the churches and government out of the bedrooms.
