I didn't say anything, just deleted the text thread and next day I get a bunch of threatening texts to post screenshots, and expose me. Classic scam, just block and move on. Stay safe out there.

I spent the better part of yesterday and today fucking with this scammer for fun. Maaaan, they got pissed and just stopped texting when I called their bluff. Threatened me saying they got my IP address from my phone number (it's a burner listed as a research number) and was going to expose me. Couldn't even tell me my real name.

The cash and dash is bad enough, but at least she (or her friend) didn't pull a gun on you. Does anybody know whatever happened to those girls that were robbing men at gunpoint a couple of years ago? Did the police ever catch up to them? Or maybe a bullet?

I totally agree with you. I am quite relieved that didn't happen. Going in my gut feeling told me something was up. My first instinct was to be on look out for cops and all. When she slipped out of the room, almost immediately my flight response kicked in, dressed up and left within a minute. Losing a $ something is way better than being robbed or on news for being a jhon.
