Posts: 31A Relaxing Massage in Naples
My bad. Meant to ask about A Relaxing Massage on Tamiami in East Naples. Drove by too fast the first time and misread the name. Online it looks promising but wonder if no extras since it's the only one around still working.

Went by Yian, DC and a few other East Naples places. Looks like all closed except Relaxation Station. Anyone have feedback on them?

Ramsey seemed to die around the 1st of July. All ads and associated social media vanished without a trace including the Instagram account. Maybe Tamara found a SD, new law worries or something bad happened, no idea. I posted previous on this and the Escort board asking but no additional intel.

Posts: 208No proof but given their history and the recent news reports they were likely closed. The news report said there were 20 regulatory cases, two cease-and-desist orders and two cease-desist orders pending.

Today I went by Ramsay Way to investigate why we no longer see them on STG. I checked units 3,4 and 5 at 5245 and there was no answer after several attempts. I could barely see inside, but unit 4 the reception door was open and the room behind it appeared empty. Unless I was at the wrong location there seems to be nothing there.
I did get a response from a text what I thought was to Ramsay way, but turns out to be a Hispanic place on Del Prado. She didn't know anything about if they were related to Ramsay Way. I had hoped to go to the scent shop but there was a mixup and didn't get the appointment with the provider I requested. I will be abundantly specific the next time I try that. Overall a disappointing day.

Back in town and stopped by Macau in East Naples. Looked like it is closed down. Thought window shades open was just due to the new law but the sign off was off and looked closed up. Anyone have any info on them?

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me that the clause "the establishment must confirm the identification of the Client. " means that the spa must see some sort of identification. How else can they confirm the clients identify?" The establishment must confirm the identification of the Client or patient before any service or treatment is provided to the client or Patient.”
This does not seem to indicate any proof is necessary but a copy "may" be used vs and intake form. The last sentence is somewhat confusing and seems duplicated. Nothing in this says it's mandatory to verify, collect or keep a copy of an I'd for clients.
Further, I imagine that it's probably illegal for the client to give false information on an intake form. The false information alone could be a charge by itself.
Take what I wrote with a grain of salt. Once again, I'm not a lawyer.

I found it funny because I'm sure there are some reviews of those ladies in here. Someone will list early 20's or 30's. Yet they were all late 40's or 50's. Haha.

This along with the other posts may belong in news and media reports but the conversation was started here. Mods may choose to move.
I did finally finally read the entire law in full vs sections an my non-attorney view is this. It appears these places will need to get their record keeping in order to avoid making the news. Arresting the mgr's for failing to keep records seems like nothing other than sensationalist headline making. Most offences of this type are met with warnings, fines or temp suspension of license, not arrest especially on the first offense. In this case it's a misdemeanor, 3rd offence felony. It's an election year so that may have something to do with it. It's also odd that LE is doing the records checks but it could be another agency like the health department is then calling in police. In at least one case they coordinated with the news crew so they are definitely looking for headlines. I did not see any mention of clients in establishments at the time but I would guess there some getting a nice massage. I've had some quality massage and some not so quality.
It appears if they get their records in order and follow some of the other requirements like window dressing that would help them. For now I'm treading lightly and likely won't visit unless they are at least collecting intake forms and have addressed the window requirements. That would show they are complying with records and less likely to make the news.
For everyone's benefit here is the text of the law pertaining to client info.
"A massage establishment must maintain a complete set of legible Records in English or Spanish, which must include the date, time, and type of Service or treatment provided; the full legal name of the employee who Provided the service or treatment; and the full legal name, home address And telephone number of the client or patient. Medical records may satisfy this requirement if the records include the specified information. A copy of The client's or patient's photo identification may be used to provide the full Legal name and home address of the client or patient. Records required under This paragraph must be maintained for at least 1 year after a service or Treatment is provided. All information required under this paragraph must Be collected and recorded before any service or treatment is provided to a Client or patient. The establishment must confirm the identification of the Client or patient before any service or treatment is provided to the client or Patient. ".
This does not seem to indicate any proof is necessary but a copy "may" be used vs and intake form. The last sentence is somewhat confusing and seems duplicated. Nothing in this says it's mandatory to verify, collect or keep a copy of an I'd for clients.
I wonder how they Aroma shops fit this? In any case tread lightly.

Yes the $ stands for 100 so I paid 170 and she wanted more for BBBJ.
