And yes more pricey providers tend to request government name identification. Completely understand these providers can do as they please and implement whatever rules they want, but as market participants, we should collectively push back on things that transgress boundaries.

They use a 3rd party service that uses your information to I guess prove you aren't LEO. I don't know the details or what the service is called. For me the rationale is a well reviewed provider (often more pricey) is probably not out to get me. I'd worry about a low end provider. I haven't had issues and usually feel safe with a higher end tryst experience.

I can *maybe* understand asking for a pic to verify-- and that's a BIG maybe. But why do I need to disclose and share a permanent photo of myself and full government name / identification to you? Not to impute bad motives to some of these ladies but idk that just seems like a big leap to me. Let's say one gets crazy and vindictive, they know exactly who you are. And again, they are all going by fake names. Why the hell can't I be James Bond?

It's just seems too trusting in the context of what we are all doing here as adults.
