Trying to figure out if it's coincidence or me.

I changed mobile providers yesterday, and I'm unable to get onto bedpage. Not sure if it's blocked by the new provider, or by the account by default with the new provider, or might just be that page is coincidentally down just as I switch.

I guess first question, is it really down? Second question would be, how do you address this with the cell company?

Bedpage isn't down. I can get in easily from all devices and networks.

Try accessing via WiFi instead of over the cell network and see if that makes a difference. I've never heard of cell networks blocking sites like that but I guess it's not outside of the realm of possibilities. If you can get in via WiFi then it's something related to the wireless network. If not, then it's something on your device that's preventing it. Maybe try a different browser.

I check BP almost everyday. Never seen it down before. If you ever want to check if any site is down, just run a ping or check the down or not sites. If you think your ISP is blocking a site, either use a VPN or use a free proxy site. Such as.

It claimed that Asian girls working MP's in OC had no idea what city they were in, and were moved city to city every few weeks. I have never seen any evidence of that. If they were in desparate straights you would assume they would seek some assistance or to get word to the authorities to rescue them. But no, they just want you to become a regular customer. I think the misunderstanding comes from a cultural difference. I've done a little work with Polaris, which is a group that assists trafficked individuals. There absolutely are reports of girls who were forced to work in sex shops and had their docs taken from them and / or weren't in the country legally. The more prominent groups are Latina and Korean. Most of the shops that are discussed in OC are Chinese, and oddly enough the Chinese aren't a prominent group that gets trafficked. Again, shuffling the girls around from city to city or state to state isn't the most common form of trafficking. Debt bondage is the most common. That's where they paid someone to help them get into the US, under the guise of them having "work" once they're in, and having to pay back the debt which is often well north of $50 k. Their docs are confiscated until they're paid off. So now you have this girl in the US either illegally or without access to her docs, speaks little to no English, and owes some handler $50 k. She isn't a prisoner per se. She has some freedom. But she also has nowhere to go. She's afraid to go to the authorities because she may not be here legally. That's far more common than people realize. It's also prominent even more so with hotel and restaurant workers.

Now to clarify, there are some favorite shops in the OC that have some of the signs of trafficking. For example (I won't mention names but most of you will know who I'm referencing) there's a Westminster shop where the girls live with MMS and PPS and work 6 days a week, 12 hrs a day in a storefront with no rooms, just curtains so they have almost zero privacy. Grimmy, I always appreciate your posts, reading your post, I got to thinking about another arrangement we had in this country so many years ago during reconstruction sharecropping. - are they slaves? No, there were many white sharecroppers, but many would argue that they were forced into a situation that was technically not slavery, but a different kind of servitude.

Not something new or unique to the south, or more broadly the USA, Serfdom was very common centuries before in Europe, similar deal. , but closer to slavery.
