I don't think a residential neighborhood would be a great spot for a glory hole. Even if it's a crappy neighborhood, the neighbors would surely say something about six or eight cars an hour coming and going. I would think an apartment would be better where not many people necessarily know each other and people come and go all the time. Just my opinion.
My experience wasn't that horrible no guy in site nor the puppies but you're pretty much right about everything else.

Not being to far away from this location, I did a drive by and there was 3-4 cars parked in the driveway and front yard at this address. Definite red flag for me.
