There are no limits to how much cash you are allowed to carry domestically. For international flights, they want you to declare if you are carrying $10,000+, failure to do so could result in TSA confiscating the cash. I wouldn't carry that much cash anyway, just 1 k max for emergencies and rest are just ATM or credit card use. Most places I can just apple pay now (except in Korea because they are samsung-racists). If you have cash, full body scanners will pick it up on the scanner and you'll subject to another wand-scan I guess but they shouldn't care that you are carrying cash anyway.
