I got the refund. I'll expound in the name of fair play.

I walked in on July 4th midday because I knew it would be dead. I asked for Sindy as instructed. She came out and dragged me into a room. It took a couple minutes with the translator app to get her to understand why I was there. She walked out and came back with a familiar face-Vivi, who was filling in for 1 day. The appointment vs walk in question has been beat to death but. If you ask them, they'll tell you it's best to make an appointment-particularly if you want a certain provider. Our problem is that they're not great at honoring appointments. Their problem is that you degenerates keep making them and don't show up. And you know they don't write anything down anyway. The best you can hope for is that showing them a confirmed appt text will get you into the bull pen for next up.

That said, I'm put off about the HF in general and Renton has a glut of teahouses so I'm going to give them time to get their shit together before going back.

I would never do this, make an appointment, imo it seems counter-intuitive, I mean being able to just show up when I want with little to no planning is one main reason I like AMPs.

Let us know how the refund goes! My guess is that it's gone. You should have asked for it back in person, to the person who took the money. Even then, she can say she's turned people away because you booked time, so no refund.

Appointments at these places are kind of a joke because cash in hand is king. A paying customer in person will beat a potential customer from a phone call every time (unless they know you).

Sorry this happened and hope it works out. Slightly expensive lesson.

Decided to hit up Oriental Lotus in Bothell based on a couple of you recently trying it out. TLDR: won't be back. The location is conspicuous to say the least. A very busy stretch of downtown. Lots of foot traffic, and even more vehicular traffic.

2 x in a row now I showed up on time for an appointment and ended up leaving.
