Same here. After you have smashed a few times, I'd give them upfront so as to not waste time. But that's about the only time it happens.

Not once, ever, has an AMP provider "played" first and waited for the eh generosity of a monger to decide after. You pay the house upfront. You get your massage then on the flip agree on what and you want and tip, then the games begin.

Idk been with a few regulars in town that have taken the tip after. But this was on the third or fourth visit with them.

Both of these exist. Some take a one solid fee up front for house and services, some separate it at front of the house and the room, some ask for it on the flip, and some places don't even ask believing you to know the rundown of how much things should cost although if you cheat them or super lowball them then you may be inviting trouble or you're in a total dump anyway where it's probably Li from obaasan.
