So what sites are folks using now? Google images and TinEy, at least in the past, did not provide the same functionality as FaceCheck. They checked for sites containing the same photo as the one you uploaded, while FaceCheck used facial recognition software to identify any public photo with the same face. Are there any other free sites with that capability?

No free sites. The other alternative to facecheck is Pimeyes. Google reverse image search used to provide results that had similar features to a person's face. Along if it found the exact picture. It no longer provides the similar features results due to policy changes regarding privacy. So all you have now are paid face search sites. At least the pay system for Pimeyes is better than facecheck's pay system.
