Something off about this post. Why roll past RL at 7 when they all open at 9 or 930? Then went over to Billingsley and a guy was there? They open at 9 as well. I think just trying to push traffic away from these 2 spots.

Update on the RL situation. I drove past there today, around 7 PM and the open sign was not lit up. I called the number on google, and it goes straight to voicemail. I did not see any LEO in the area. I did not try the handle to see if I could go in. I figured if they were open the sign would be lit up.

I decided to try Billingsley for the first time, since its nearby. I texted the number, and they had me wait outside for a bit. There was an Arabian looking dude with a long beard staring at me where they had me parked, waiting. Not sure if that is their doorman, but it sketched me out, and I don't remember reading about him in any of the posts, so I bailed on that too. All in all, decided to call it a night. I hope RL is only down for a bit. Might give Lavender a shot while RL is out of commission. Thanks,

So was this guy outside, standing by their door? Or was he in a car? If he was in a car, I know a lot of Uber drivers park around that area as a central location, on stand-by waiting for rides. If he was actually outside, maybe he was another guy trying to get in, and he was just as spooked by you as you were of him.

He was propping the door open with his foot. Smoking and watching me. I was texting the phone number, and she asked me to call her, so I did and when I did he looked behind himself and started talking to the people inside. So I messaged and said guy is staring at me, I am going to roll out. So I started to drive away and then they texted me saying come around back.

I drove around the back and he was there propping the door open again and staring at me. Like I said, none of the previous reports mentioned anything about any guys that I could recall, so at that point I said I'm out, and bounced. Maybe he is the doorman, but I feel like if there was an Arabian door man someone would have mentioned him, or the woman operating the phone would have mentioned that he was with them.

Maybe I am being paranoid, but the moment I feel something is off, or has changed in any way I am Audi 5000. LOL.

My memory of those posts is that they were spurious at best. The content mentioned things like Uncle LEO sitting in the parking lot, following people home etc.

The most recent post I saw regarding this place was that the place was closed for a few weeks for an entire staff vacation. Apparently (if you read forums and even news sites) the entire industry is experiencing a "slump" of some sort (many providers on may subreddits lamenting the loss of income).

But you could drive by and report. Pulling up the place on Google maps indicates that it's open, which places into question the report that everyone is on vacation.

The place is VERY public and it's easy to just park and have a walk up / down the sidewalk. It's kind of out of my way.

I'll be following this and try and give it a look see on Friday or next week, as it is on my "list".

The information in that post was vague. That area is S. O and some thought it was Powell. It's not Powell. There was another new place south of there that the lot is quite busy and there was a Karen reporting on it in an app. That place also asked you to sign in. Someone recommended signing in as Mickey Mouse. That place is near the Lazy Chameleon and next to a salon. I have been to RL many times and seen Wendy mostly and Judy once. Never had an issue. You are allowed to get a massage.
