I'll also vouch for the giftcards issued by Blackhawk. Worked every time for me, but I can only find them in denominations up to $100 (do they exist in higher amounts? Usually I prefer to renew for 3 months, so I used a SecureSpend card recently, expecting it not to work and have to call their support line for manual processing, but it worked this time for some reason. My public profile pic is still a neck-down photo. I'm getting prompted to add more photos but it has not impacted my ability to search. The incentive is apparently if I upload more public photos I will get seen more, but I'm not interested in being found, I prefer to do the finding. FWIW, my account is 'verified' but not active, although it has been active in the past.
