Not at all, it's faster. Brea you have to take 91 w all the way to the 57 n. Costa Mesa you only have to take the 91 w to the 241/261 toll road then take that all the way down. The toll road never has traffic going to OC.

It depends if you have to go back. The 241 to 91 junction is a car picnic area after 2 pm. The 91 is problematic in rush hours plus minus 3 hours.

There is a spot after 91 that a full-size interceptor can park ready to pounce. I was notified by Google Maps. Waze will have that too. Make sure the voice is on. Its radar was off. That wouldn't matter as otherwise I would have been going 100 mph on the carpool lane. If it tried to catch me I would have gone far away or there was plenty of time to go off-ramp and disappear.

The significance is that these spots are very few. I know the few spots where I live. They don't change for decades and they are the only places that you may be caught. They only try to catch people when the traffic is light.

Agreed. While Enclave was getting somewhat congested I'd imagine there are other locations nearby that would work but I would not be surprised if they wanted a quicker set up on an existing lease.

I hope the economics and better business in OC forces them to reconsider and open a OC location too. There is no way I can go to Brea on weekdays.
