Ask in person, or if you really want it and nothing else be willing to walk away (kinda a dick move but works or burns the bridge).

Some have rules like no CIP, my recent one doesn't even like DATY so if you do get it be respectful so you don't get cut off or worse some bs alert.

Also be prepared for the fist time to run you 50% more can negotiate down after.
