The math actually works the opposite of what you are saying. The reality is that these shops and the girls there need to make a living, so as business slows down, many leave thus reducing supply. This keeps prices high, especially for advanced services where supply is even more limited.

When I fist got into the hobby, gas was under a dollar a gallon and FS could be had for under 100. Now gas is 3.50 a gallon, three and a half times as high. I lot of folks want to live in the past (and that is true for more than just the hobby), but the reality is that prices as still a deal.
