What is it with all the ghosting. I don't understand posting an ad and then it turns out to be fake. I just don't remember this kind of situation years ago. I don't understand the reasoning behind these false ads. Can someone enlighten me.

My opinion. Providers are like little childern they are easily distracted and have no impluse control for the most part. Anything can distract them and send them another way. I am speaking about 98% of the providers. 2% understand they are in business and treat it that way.

NEVER provide any provider with any personal info. I never use my real name with them. If you have a smart phone, there are plenty of text free apps to download and use a fake number. You can even save the number as if it's your own number to use for the business. I personally never send face pics to providers even if it's a "requirement" on their end. Imagine that provider gets busted and their phone is searched by LE and now they have a face to put to all of the provider's customers. Always think with your big head and not your little one, it will save you from a lot of headaches in the end. Providing them with your real info (name, phone number, pics) is just allowing yourself to either be blackmailed by the provider or easily identified by LE. Be smart and safe folks.

To me it's the single greatest puzzler in the hobby. It seems to be happening more and more even with providers that are reviewed and legit and sometimes with providers I've seen multiple times. Either no answer from the get go or, even worse, set an appointment, drive to location and then crickets. Happened to me with Ms Dayton just last week. And I'm always polite in communication. I'm stumped.

I guess its a game and don't need $.
