The issue was we had not set up a date at all during our interaction. If we had set up a date in advanced I would have most definitely answered on time when you where going to make the drive to me. Also, if it's ok for me to text you anytime after you text me just say so. I can't answer every text on time the first time because I'm not working 24/7. My rule of not answering if I miss the message after a couple of hours (if our date hadn't been settled) is in place just because I'm trying to avoid texting people when they are in a precarious situation.

I appreciate your rule though some of us think it's ghosting. I don't like unsolicited texts days later either. Some or most of us are under time constraints and to be honest may be around family or who knows who.
