Ok so coming from experience (family). Heroine and crack different in cost and in dependency. Heroine users use just to stop from getting sick so they can get by on few shots a day. Ranging from 20-60 $ a day but again they will do more if it's available. Crack is more expensive and they can smoke a 200 $ rock in minutes. Then be searching for it rest of night. But if they don't do that first hit they normally don't get the tremors shakes chills like heroine. There are a ton of weekend crack heads out there but there are zero weekend heroine ones. Hope that helps. I'd stay away from supporting heroine users just because me apt to die of OD and the fact they will be very unpredictable. Not saying crack heads better but easier to control.

Having dealt with one myself and taken them to a methadone clinic for like 18 months, it depends on the user and tolerance builds up over time. Your figures for just not being sick sound about right though. Honestly if some of these girls weren't doing drugs they would have easily cleared 80 k or more a year untamed. But as they tend to go hand in hand it always gets blown. Some are more hard-core than others but I'd say most probably spend at least 150-200 a day the junkies probably do more.

I'll never deal with someone actively doing heroin, it's scary especially if they OD while you are there, I'm not the type to walk away and let someone die but I also don't want to be in the position of answering anyone's questions. So I agree with you on that.

I was interested to see how much the candy cost would be. If someone used only crack and heroin, using the pricing info in the two links below, the cost of that alone could be somewhere between $110,000 and $150,000 per year. This could be way off in either direction, but one link gives a $150-200 a day figure for heroin habits and from the data on the other page on crack, I'm assuming crack could be in the same range. This would not include food and housing help, or any incidental medical or legal problems that might arise.

So not much walking; however they are at the motels. I have a couple I just text and make a date. I did see Lindsey walking because I guess business is slow. I saw her walking by the laundromat with a scowl on her face. She wasn't ever very chipper from the first time I met her, but definitely seems worse. She did suck and swallow decent the 2 times I saw her, but the muttering and personality is too big of a turn off. She hasn't swallowed for me in almost a year.
