I'm not the booker or owner, just a monger that has read up on what happened in Boston and getting a good look behind the curtain on operations. In Boston there was an individual that would sign the lease having met the requirements for credit score, employment, background check, down payments, etc. Same process for rentals in San Diego and with that location being in La Jolla, I'd suspect it's a bit tougher. The location and floor plan work very well and the gate issue is not that big a nuisance. Truly, this gate issue has existed for several years and the mongers bring up this nuisance on a regular basis. This is only a nuisance and does not impair, slow down, or impede business. No need to relocate.

In 12 years I have only ever parked on the north side, usually lots of 2 hour parking. There is a gate on the north side and back when FEC buzzed you in I used that gate. So I got used to parking there. It's a 3 minute walk from there to the main entrance. You can even exit by the north gate straight to that side. Absolute worst case there are two options of paid parking.

If you get a parking warning, best to be careful for a while. Some places tow after the 1st warning or two. My mom got her car towed visiting after getting 1 warning. No clue it got towed other than it was gone, called the leasing office, then the tow company, which confirmed I could stop by when they were open. $400. More than the money it's just not fun.

We could all use the 3 minute walk as exercise. SDAG had its own issues, especially at the old location (s). But the newer location is great for the most part. But they fall behind schedule more, partly since they are busier etc.

I know you're just looking out, so thanks for your response, but definitely not looking for a girlfriend LOL. I ask for 2 specific reasons.

1 - when I monger in Korea, the girls will call you oppa / casual tone right away. And there is always a bit of small talk, so I just wondered if it was the same stateside. Granted, it was at massage parlors, not agencies.

My knife method does work 100%. If you're worried about being discreet you can try the knife method on the south gate where there is little traffic. Another thing the booker could do is install a lock box with the key to the gate. Get the key, open the gate and on your way out return the key to the lock box for the next person to use.
